The founder has been one of the first dog handlers in Italian Local Police Forces, having started his training process at the Padua Corps in 2000.
General purpose and patrol dog handler, he then enlarged his toolbox by attending a training for dual purpose patrol/drug detection at the military working dog section of military police of US Army SETAF in Vicenza.
As an Italian Army Special Operations Force Reserve Officer, he served at the Canine Battalion of the Italian Army from 2004 to 2006, in the context of the project to enhance the canine capabilities of the Armed Force.
He has been in charge of the training and the commander of the Canine Surveillance and crowd control company.
Following training with the Swiss police, he became the first Italian to acquire the qualification of SOKKS accredited instructor for detection.
He is the reference trainer for the human remain detection capability for the SAGF units of the Guardia di Finanza and, to date, he has trained about 70 handlers and assistant handlers with the SOKKS MicroParticles Training System.
He holds a Bachelor in Government Administration with a final dissertation on the use of dogs by Italian public administrations.
